Forest almost beat scum today so not sure how long they stay below us. We still need wins big time and I’m afraid I have been bigging up our defence but we keep conceding. We matched Brighton for possession and Okafor gave their defence a torrid time but any team that presses us wins
Didn’t watch it today. Could someone do a player ratings just so I can have a better insight please? I think I need to make sure I watch all the games as I went to Bournemouth & West Ham, watched the rest on tv apart from Arsenal, Burnley & Brighton so all our worst performances apparently. Only games I think I’ve watched us lose on tv are Spurs which we weren’t bad in and the cup. You’ll all be happy to know I can watch next weeks game.
If anyone can tell me what piroe has done for him to be sat getting splinters on his and nmecha gets minutes instead I'll be eternally grateful..I would ask for a transfer if I was him
It's all good saying the squad is not good enough or the 49ers have brought in ****, but if you don't have a good enough coach then the players won't play good. I mentioned it 2 years ago, and I'm going to say it again, Farke has the worst win Ratio in the Premier League. You can make excuses about Norwich not backing him, but a coach worth his salt would be able to coach a side to win. Last season, Dyche struggled with Everton, but when Moyes came back in, it changed, and they started to win. Visa Versa look at Ange, who failed at Forest. In my opinion, this side is good enough to stay up They just need a decent coach.
Squads nowhere near good enough. If we stay up it’ll be because there are three sides more rubbish than ours. As it stands west ham and wolves are a lot worse, that’s why we beat them
You and Doc and a few others will eventually get your way and Farke will be gone. Reminds me of the relegation season when everyone was calling for Marschs head when we were outside of the relegation zone. Me and another poster (who may reveal himself if he wants) were saying "be careful what you wish for". Here we are again, outside of the relegation zone and fans calling for the managers head.
1 I never called for Marsch's head. I quite liked the fella; however, I do think he was naive in taking the Leeds jobs when he had a 39% chance of success. I warned you 2 years ago that Farke was not good enough to keep us in the Premier League. Yes, he got Norwich promoted twice, meaning he got Norwich relegated at least once. How long do you wait until we get rid of him? In January, after we get demolished by the big 6, or in May, when he's dragged us back down into the Championshp? Look at our run-up to the new year from now. It's a hard run, and after today, we may not pick up any points till mid-Jan
Emu today I said even if we lose we cannot sack Farke yet, so please be factual. I do think he hasn’t got the smarts but for now he deserves his chance and I’m sick of stating that.
I know you did mate. It's no secret that you didn't want him though. Listen, I've probably been the most critical on here for today's performance. It was ****e and even I will call for Farkes head if our next 9 or 10 games look similar. I'm just saying that we should be careful what we wish for at the moment. We are still clear of the relegation zone.
That well known Celtic fan that masquerades as the YEP Leeds tame journalist has made some amazing marks on today’s team performances. Perri 6 me 7 Bogle 4 me 6 he did get a couple of great crosses in that DCL missed Rodon 5 me 5 Bijol 4 me 6 he was last man covering all too often Gudmundson 5 me 6 Ampadu 4 me 6 he was running our midfield Longstaffe 5 me 4 Tanaka 6 me 4 Okafor 6 me 7 DCL 4 me 5 still puts a shift in but the drought goes on Stach 6 me 7 James 5 me 5 Nmecha 5 me 4 Harrison 5 me 4 Justin 5 me 5
I think he earned his chance and so far we are clearly of relegation. We sacked Marsch whilst we were clear and it went to **** from there. I don't want history to repeat itself. I do admire the fact that you put your neck on the line by sticking by Viera though. Not everyone gives alternatives.
It’s not too hard to see that it was a proper off day for the team yesterday. Don’t think I’d have anyone getting above 5 out of 10. Thought Bogle/Tanaka/Aaronson/Longstaff and Ampadu were (for me) the worst of a bad bunch. The rest were marginally better - but not by much. I don’t see Tanaka as having PL ability, unconvinced about Bijol. The list goes on. Truth is when we play well, we look as if we’ll possibly stay up. When we play, as we did yesterday you get the feeling we have no chance. Everyone on here knows we lack creative and finishing ability. Also that we pose our biggest threat from open play, when we move the ball quickly. I don’t expect any points next week, purely because I’m struggling to see whose gonna score, other than perhaps from a set piece (and you know how that goes, with our normal set piece delivery). We’re doomed.
For me it's simple. We let Joseph and Ramazzani go on loan, didn't buy Manor Soloman and somehow kept Aaron Brendenson (sic). Now, maybe nobody wanted him (more than likely), but if that's the case how on earth can he be a constant in our team? The guy isn't even Championship level, he's weak in the tackle, can barely muster the strength to take a shot and gets blown over when there's a big gust of wind. Look at the chance he missed against Burnley when were one nil down, if Gnonto had been in that position he'd have buried it. And yesterday Farke takes Tanaka off and puts Aaronson in the middle, it is beyond belief. It's just like Meslier last season, Farke loves the guy and will play him no matter what. From my understanding it was Marathe who forced Farke into dropping Meslier last season, well he needs to have another chat, post haste.
