Few pizzas the other night. Smashed a dough out in 24 hours and wasn't bad to work with... pretty tasty too. Like to leave em 72 hours if poss but will not shy away from a 24 hour effort in future. Also. like a beer while I watch the embers.

Went to this revamped pub last night, Come Dine with Me winner. I ended up having 'Naughty Chips', which was thrice cooked chips (allegedly) with brisket burnt ends, stuffing balls, pork belly cubes, sauces and such like on them, and a side of gravy All very nice, but the chips are too heavy for this so I left most if them. Better with fries. Decent pub this place now, will go again. Pie and mash in a Nicholston pub today.
