I love this type of film because the are a real snapshot in time. The music in it is composed and produced by the great Joe Meek and is something of a vehicle for his protege, Southampton's own Heinz Burt. Some real music legends appear like Gene Vincent and Kenny Ball and others before they were famous like Steve Marriott, Dave Clark, Mitch Mitchell, Ritchie Blackmore, and Chas Hodges from Chas and Dave!
I see that Jack DeJohnette passed a couple of days ago. He was arguably thr greatest drummer in tjr current scene having initially made his name with Miles Davis and Charles Lloyd. More recently he worked extensively with John Abercrombie , John Surman and Keith Jarrett as well as his own groups.
