A bit of it is due to us shopping for free agents I guess but that can't be helped. Coventry also have a chunky injury list at the moment for what it's worth and I think Milwall do too, or did until recently.
Millar, Belloumi and Matazo are last year's bad luck. If and when they return to full fitness (including post return injuries) then all we can hope for is they all remain the players they originally looked and can then have a few years injury free and contributing significantly to the success of the team. The real frustrating ones for me are McBurnie, Lundstram and, to a lesser extent, Crooks. All solid and proven at this level and all contributing to our good start to the season before falling with odd (unfortunate?) injuries. Ok, Lundstram's is a calf injury with defined treatment and clear return route but McBurnie's is looking like one that's hard to pin down and may turn into an ongoing 'two weeks away' scenario and Crooks' is a real 'what are the chances?' one. The best we can hope for is that the team returns to something looking like full strength in the New Year. Hopefully we've not fallen too far behind by then.
