No not at all so are you defending the red robo's and scargils of the world who wanted to disregard democracy and overthrow the legit government
I definitely think corruption needs to be managed in unions. Representative democracy in unions I don’t think is representative. However I think the concept of a body who has the power to fight for fairness for everyday workers is arguably needed now more than ever.
Totally agree, was in union my whole working life including 3 years after I retired, but the hypocritical behaviour between private and public side of my union was annoying.
Call to equalise tax for business earners as well as the waged. It would make a huge difference to our economy https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1Qk3opDLwn/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Read that article earlier, the lies in it esp Lib Dem, about fossil fuels putting us in the hands of Russia etc. There is enough gas and old in the north sea and underground +900 years of coal to support us until nuclear/ renewable are consistently available
For me the health of my children matters. No offence but I’m more inclined to believe science experts than Ron https://www.reuters.com/sustainabil...ossed-scientists-warn-ahead-cop30-2025-10-12/
I would love to believe he experts, is climate change manmade!!, to many contradictions, take the last climate emergency the ozone layer. All countries had to give up CFC's straight away not some now the rest later. Climate change, the west who's emission peaked about 1991 have to reduce even more whereas, China, India etc allowed to carry on as normal so much so that this year is the highest emissions on record. If it is so important why are all countries not forced to cut emissions
That pollution/industrialsation effects climate has been known for over 100 years. Just like tobacco companies for years suppressed the harm nicotine was doing, so oil/coal energy companies have suppressed what carbon does to the world. Undoubtedly 'science' has it right about the need to decarbonise. I suspect the outcomes (all bad) are not so certain, there will be a worst climate and best climate scenario. Just as the human body gets screwed and extreme up if you take too many steroids... so weather gets screwed up and extreme if it takes too much carbon and other substances.
I agree, but if you are on steroids and you are taking 10 a day or 3,650 a year and you stop taking one on a leap year it’s about the same as Britain sticking to the rules but every one else carries on as normal.
We were told in the 90's that the sea levels would rise causing mass amounts of land to be underwater this bullshit was spun by Al Gore. We are still waiting. Oh and what do we see building work being carried out on a mass scale in those areas. Covid we trusted the scientists Climate change are we to trust the scientists again.

Latest deprivation index. Not a good look for the north east, but thankfully it’s now getting investment https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cly137089yyo
Man do you believe all the crap you post, explain to me why we cant do the same as China, its allowed to and get away with it ,while we sit on vast amounts of energy and oil we cant touch, Labour paid thousands to cap our oilwells but we still need oil so have to buy it and ship it in, Coal we still need it to make steel yet we pay a fortune to ship it in when we are sitting on tons of it. Basically everything in front of you is made of oil, clothes, trainers, shavers, furniture, bedding ,beds, cars all the interior is plastic or man made fibres. the list goes on one volcano in Iceland blowing off releases more dangerous toxins than 12 years of us trying to save, do you know how much China produces in carbon compared to us its astronomical people on a living wage dont need this crap its just a ploy for the multi nationals to screw us more
**** me, you have just put over the points i have been making for years (you missed off the insulation on electric wireing which replaced rubber decades ago), there are miles of it in every building standing or being built today. Nobody ever tells us the "carbon footprint" of bringing coal/oil/cut down trees to us from other countries because that`s not bad carbon it`s magic good carbon. Talking of cutting trees down, it has now become popular for companies to use wood pellets as fuel to stay green. What the idiots don`t understand is 1 The pellets are shipped here so has a carbon footprint. 2 Burning wood produces CO2 3 Trees are the worlds biggets sink for CO2 Cut down the lungs of the Earth and burn it, great stratedgy, very green.
