OK, if you don't want to explain it to me I'll draw my own conclusions.

    Quite.

I fail to see how anything Paul Elliott has done is harmful to the Club or anyone in the family of Charlton supporters.
Can what he is supposedly doing wrong be explained to me?

The ridiculing of some of Charlton's black players because they want to show their sympathy for the terrible suffering in Jamaica after the hurricane is another opinion that completely escapes my understanding.
What are those players doing that is worthy of derision?

I'll ask one more time. Please someone explain it to me.
Because it looks like something unpleasant, and I would like to be reassured that I'm mistaken in that assumption.

I have no idea what Elliott has done to earn your contempt.
If it is only his interest in Black history, then I cannot understand why you find that so offensive.
Has Elliott done something else that is harmful to CAFC?

And why is Miles Leaburn wrong to show sympathy for the victims of the hurricane that has devastated Jamaica?

In the absence of an explanation for the most recent posts which appear to ridicule some of Charlton's black players for their sympathy towards victims of the Jamaica hurricane, I must conclude that they are exactly what they appear to be.

Dislike for Paul Elliott and the CAFC diversity policy is a matter of opinion, and different opinions are what a forum is all about.
Mocking Miles Leaburn simply for expressing concern about the situation in Jamaica is not just an opinion. It is in my view racist content.

I asked for an alternative explanation. I wanted to be persuaded that my view was mistaken.
But no alternative reasoning has been offered.

The merits and drawbacks of Charlton Athletic Football Club's diversity policy is arguably a political subject anyway.
Not perhaps Party political, but political in that it is something that can divide members in a potentially toxic fashion. It is a Culture War subject.
Such subjects have a single thread on this forum.
The Current affairs and politics thread.
Any future conversations regarding CAFC diversity policy will be moved to that thread.

A separate thread about CAFC diversity is not going to be used as a platform to post racist content while I am responsible for moderating this forum.
Therefore I am locking this thread.
