Fair play to Lampard and the squad if they can keep up that kind of momentum - they are scoring for fun at the moment. Won't do his stock any harm getting them promoted.
Coventry are ruthless. But Watford have also been awful in defence, and now they're down to 10 men after a silly challenge took down the last man. Could be many more goals to come.
Ruthless and clinical. They just never seem to miss. And rarely do they take a back foot - when they have their opponents under pressure, they kill them. I don't know if they can keep this up throughout the season - at some point you would imagine they'll start missing chances - but we'll see. I would expect this to turn into 5 or 6 in the second half.
Next Friday is the deadline for the next batch of TV games to be released. Hopefully we manage to escape getting any Friday/Monday nights again.
Bit of a mad stat on Sky earlier, us and Coventry are apparently the only teams to not concede from a corner yet.
I'm not sure why it didn't work out for Moore last year at Sheff Utd, but in general he's a very good striker at this level. I think it was only about £2m - £3m that Wrexham paid for him. I'd have been fine with us paying that (not that SR ever would have looked at him).
Curious to see how Coventry react to this now. They've got quite a tough run up until Christmas I think.
Watched them in the week against Cardiff too & Moore is the exact type of signing we need. Proper physical & throws himself about. Such a steal for Wrexham
