I think what is currently going on is far from satisfactory, in that all it does is strip him of titles and he's going to move out of a huge lodge that he's probably just been rattling around in. We shouldn't forget that Epstein offered a service to the highest levels in society, there are probably names we will never know that will take any crime to the grave with them. Mandelson is still ducking and diving questions and it's obvious he was quite comfortable in Epsteins company. How many others did Mandelson introduce to Epstein from Parliamentry business... https://news.sky.com/story/watch-as...mandelson-over-jeffrey-epstein-links-13459413 We forget the crimes of Saville far too easily, his connections also went to the very top, including in the company of Maggie Thatcher. Let's also not forget the failings of bringing Cyril Smith to justice when he was alive, quote: Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk, who has worked to expose Cyril Smith as a prolific *****phile, said the failure to get prosecutions was "a scandal" and "devastating for the victims" who had been "let down". https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-37503882 Comparisons between Saville & Smith: https://www.theguardian.com/politic...smith-outfox-law-child-sex-abuse-jimmy-savile Also Rochdale of all ****ing places, linked to the grooming gangs, no wonder the likes of Starmer and Phillips want to dilute it. Anyway back to Andrew, now the police can get on with their business and investigate him, but will they, well as we know this goes to the very top of our establishment, and as recently reported grooming gangs on an industrial scale, it's at the core of our society. What else might we find out, another Royal a top politician or even PM trying to protect those that have something to hide. Did someone mention Ted Heath... https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/oct/05/the-main-allegations-against-ted-heath It's all our there if people care to look for it. At the very top of our society and at all levels.
Wealth and entitlement. For some of these people, they literally believe that the same rules and laws don't apply to them. That they can take and do what they want, without any recriminations It's a total abuse of power, and unfortunately many of them wield the power to ruin the lives of any whistleblowers
Also we shouldn't forget none of this is being done for honourable reasons, it's being done purely to make the problem going away, and his brother (The King) will still pay his rent for him. So my next question is why are they trying to make the problem going away, who else are they protecting. None of this brings any hardship on to Andrew, if anything it gives him an easier life once the media get bored and this all blows down. The socialite crimes will still be there and most likely will still continue in other shady corners.
It's all relative of course... but it's a spectacular 'fall from grace' ... he'll no longer be wined and dined across the world by the rich and powerful ... the opposite ... wonder just how many have already 'blocked' him? ...
Yep, he's an embarrassment to the Royal Family and they want to wash their hands of him. But there are likely dozens if not hundreds like him who have indulged in these sordid acts, protected by their wealth and status. Those Epstein files need to be opened up for public scrutiny and the people involved brought to justice. But all the while we have a US president (who himself was a friend and visitor to Epstien Island) wants to keep them covered up, the victims will likely not see that justice. As for Andrew, like you say no real hardship will come of this for him. So he's lost his titles and his swanky royal home, but he'll still live a life of luxury all paid for by the King (i.e. us) and until they expose these people, this type of **** will probably still go on behind closed doors in these circles.
... did anyone ask the stones how they felt about it?.. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cjekdqj7529o
What a ****ed up world we live in ... millions starving whilst some **** takes a **** on this ... games gone https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1j8z6r8zl6o
That's just cringe though mate and has no meaning in my life. So for me it is not relative, to those who care more about wealth or power, well just suck it up is the answer to that one. If anything it has made him a freer man, that's what concerns me, this is no punishment, it's just a diversion for the noise. In simple terms a cover up. Who knows may Charlie has something to hide himself, not an accusation but a mere process thought considering how many top politicians and presidents have been linked to these sort of investigations in the past.
My 'relative' meaning was that his particular world has come crashing down around his ears ... he is now a pariah in the circles that he used to mix in... ... not sure he is 'freer' ... doubt very much that he will ever leave the country again ... indeed probably won't venture far from his new abode ... indeed, if I played the Celebrity demise thread, I'd likely have him as triple captain in the Xmas fixtures... Don't imagine Charles has much to hide, Epstein wise, at least - his one indiscretion was 'allegedly' still humping Camilla throughout his marriage to Diana - but neither him or Edward seem to have indulged in the 'playboy' lifestyle to any extent ... not publicly at least.
He already was a pariah, all it's done is remove him from an uncomfortable situation every time these events came around. I'm sure Charles knows a lot more than the media ever dare to print when it comes to Palace allegations.
