Really good by the lads and the club imo. Youngsters like Riggy and Sadiki and then the skipper taking part in it as well. Looks like they have built up a great relationship already. Fair play to RLB and Co.
I still don't fully understand how the club managed to persuade so many good international players to come to Sunderland. One of the biggest issues for football players, apparently, is boredom. The club seem to be on top of this and the players appear to be well integrated and bonded, even those currently not starting games. That has to make a difference to the team spirit and therefore performances on the pitch. There seems to be a real engine behind every aspect of the club now from marketing to player involvement in the community. It's all very welcome but radically different to how the club has been run in the past.
Some good observations here Gerrman referee Patrick Ittrich has suggested making several changes to football's rules.. 1) For a tactical foul in midfield, a free-kick should be awarded 17 metres from goal. How often will we see such fouls then? 2) If the player rolls on the floor three times and needs a doctor, get him one and make him wait on the sideline for 3 minutes. How quickly do you think the player would stand up? 3) If a player insults the referee, send them off for 10 minutes to calm down. Go cycling to warm up before coming back on. We can learn from handball in that respect. 4) How is a referee surrounded by 10 men after a decision? In my opinion, boom, boom, boom - three red cards. Play seven against ten now. That'd be fine by me.
Will never happen, for a multitude of reasons, the primary one being they're expecting football to played at a height of 350 meters? ****ing lunacy. and that's not counting when they kick the ball out of the stadium due to the thinness of the air.....
True Ned, can you imagine writing the fire and evacuation orders for it, how many elevators would it require

Four suspects involved in the Louvre heist were arrested near the Jean-Bouin Stadium last night. They were found among the fans just before kick-off in the Paris FC vs. Lyon match. Very funny if true, not sure why but it is.
