    Delicious spat at Celtic.

The majority shareholder comes out and assassinates Rodgers' character.
But I understand it's the Board and owners that fans are furious with.
Somebody is telling huge porkie pies...

My hunch is that Rodgers is the porky piar. His manoeuvres to stir up the fans against the board smell of a manager looking for a way ahrt. But it could backfire on him, he's damaged goods now. Potential employers will have noted his behaviour, and he’s unlikely to get a job which matches his opinion of his own worth.

I haven't really got any football news. But it will be nice to get back to thinking about Football after a depressing bad news day on other fronts.

Some interesting Carabao Cup games this evening... :emoticon-0177-toivo

Canvey Island FC have appointed Garry Kimble as head coach.

Kimble played nine times for Charlton during the 80s.

    Anyone remember him?

This day in 1988 we beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 at 'home' in front of 5,933 supporters.

Peter Shirtliff and Paul Williams scored our goals.

Yep, had a brother called Alan.

Both were very nimble as I recall.

    Correct indeed.

Alan played six times for Charlton, then went on to play over two hundred times for Wimbledon.

Three wins in a row and suddenly Amorim is the real deal <doh>

If my old mum was made Man Utd manager it wouldn't take her a year to lead them to 3 wins in a row.
Even Shrek :emoticon-0132-envy: could have done it.
