The Home Secretary says the Government is starting a crack-down on illegal working - the Black Economy. About time too - this is only about 35 years too late. Work in the black economy is one of the magnets that pulls economic migrants to the UK. Along with other things like promises of benefits, housing, healthcare etc. Sadly I have very low expectations of this Government. The 'crackdown' is likely to consist of a few filmed raids for the electorate to see, followed by endless court cases and appeals. Ultimately it will fizzle out. The problem is now so deep rooted and ingrained in British society that only a radical change of Authority will be able to tackle it. In Italy of the 1920's no Government could smash the Mafia until Benito Mussolini rose to power. In Britain it will take a similar revolution to dismantle the Black economy. The way things are going, there may be one on the way within the next decade.
You couldn't make it up. Money taken from pensioners in Winter, and given to sex offenders. This Government is a collection of Clowns. Practically everyone is now laughing at them.
Someone came up with the rule to reward crime. There is someone out there who thought it would be right to give a sex pest taxpayers' money. How do these people sleep at night?
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...be-moved-military-sites-inverness-east-sussex If anybody has been to sleepy little Crowborough they will know what a frightening situation the locals will have to experience.
After hearing about the £500 given to the sex offender off back to Ethiopia for a quick holiday before heading back our way, I despair. Deck chairs, Titanic. We might as well have a General Election now and get it over with. Reform UK landslide, state of Emergency, Martial Law. It's coming anyway. Why wait for years longer as matters just get ever worse.
They put them in barracks in Canterbury, but the illegal migrants that were fleeing from war torn countries in fear for their lives moaned about the conditions of them So they had to stop using the barracks - we’re having our pants pulled down !
Controlled migration is a good thing, of course. It pays for itself and brings benefits to the country. Mass migration wrecks countries. Housing, hospitals, schools, prisons, the welfare state - all gummed up with unneeded migrants costing countless billions. Poor folk are being butchered in the streets. The powerful ones know this, but for some warped reason continue to sit on their hands.
Labour have always wanted the votes from areas with high migrant populations. For the same reason they don't want the grooming gangs investigated. They all operate in Labour run areas. As far as I know the Conservatives have no excuse. I agree with Farage to some extent. He blames Boris Johnson for BoJo's extremely generous open door policy. Cameron & May were no better.
A 'man' in his position should be ashamed of his behaviour. As I have said before, to be trousering 170k and will not answer a question to the point of lying is disgraceful.
The Standard and the Express are on a mission to destroy Sadiq Khan. Doesn't matter what he may or may not have done. They will not stop hounding him until he is gone, one way or another. They are not objective news outlets in my opinion, and neither is GB News. Doubtless we disagree on those points, and that's OK. I have criticized Khan many times, I don't like him. His transport & housing policies are damaging to London & hard working Londoners in my view. But I'm not going to put any store by what is printed or broadcast about him in the Tory / Reform UK press.
These videos speak for themselves, it is no wonder that Khan is so unpopular. He treated Susan Hall with total disrespect when the lady had him by the b*******.
Perhaps. Are these videos edited, or uncut? Who actually recorded them? If it was the BBC or ITV News I would consider watching a verified, unedited version (if one exists). But I won't be watching anything with a right wing newspaper banner or GB News logo on it.
Every time, if the only alternative is to believe Express / Standard / Mail / GB News content. As mentioned, I would watch an unedited version if it was filmed by the BBC or ITV, then consider what I had seen.
In June, when pressed again by Susan Hall, Khan gave a more straightforward answer. He said ‘there are no reported cases and also no indication of the grooming gangs that she is concerned about in London’, saying further that he had ‘no indication of them being in London’. Hall then asked if hypothetically evidence emerged that those in ‘Whitehall, local councils, police forces or the Crown Prosecution Service’ had been complicit in failing victims, he would ‘support prosecutions of those individuals’ – as has been the case with South Yorkshire police in respect to grooming gangs already. To which Khan replied ‘absolutely’. A straightforward answer that Khan may come to regret, as the Metropolitan Police have now confirmed that they are now reviewing 9,000 cases of child sexual exploitation. Many campaigners, including Maggie Oliver who blew the whistle on grooming gangs in Rochdale, called London the ‘last bastion’ of the cover-up. Chris Wild, a longtime campaigner, has described the problem in London as ‘more catastrophic’ than anywhere else in the country. ***** Telford population around 190k Rotherham population around 270k Rochdale population around 100k London population around 10 million As you are probably aware of the view, if towns with a population of 100k can have a problem it is impossible for there not to be issues in a population of 10 million.
Naturally I would be interested to view the evidence when it is presented. Sadly I have little faith that any will be forthcoming. Everyone is industriously covering their arses. This latest Government Inquiry is being gradually exposed as just another layer of the cover up. Hillsborough, Post Office, Infected blood, Grenfell, Grooming gangs. The pattern is always the same. The Establishment always closes ranks.
