Yep signing a younger keeper with potential to be backup was always a silly thing to do as they need regular football for their development. Just one of many transfers the club have made over the last decade which make little sense. Personally I don’t think he will develop into a good enough Premier league keeper and would like to see the club sign someone who will compete with or ideally usurp Vicario as number 1.
I’ve seen enough in him to think he can be a top keeper tbh All of his mistakes are to do with a lack of experience and game time When I have seen him have his best moments he has looked immense if Sanchez can play for a top 6 team then Kinsky can make a career of himself in the Prem imho needs loaning out to help him on his journey
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live/cvgk971wdr7t#MatchStats You can easily see where the Toon did better in overall play (their defence forcing so many outside the box attempts from Spurs being most telling) .
Indeed. Saves you 90 mins of time for starters (getting a bad game to watch - well I guess that is < the luck of the draw > ) . Would be nice if the BBC kept their 'pressure' banner that they run during the live game up after FT (that being the most impressive part for me) .
Those stats (and xG, while we're at it) don't reflect chances that don't result in shots. There were several opportunities where our players just didn't make contact on good crosses. Richarlison alone had several that could've resulted in easy goals.
Keith Hackett said that he was ****, if that aids your appeal to authority. I'm not sure why it would, but then I'm not sure why you disappeared for six months, either. Well, I might have a little idea about that, as it happens...
1. I pay no attention to xG (tis not objectively defined) 2. If someone did a measure for the above, then I suspect it would be a highly damning stat.
