Eze almost gets a second after good work from Harriman-Annous winning the ball back on the halfway line. He then drives with the ball and plays it into Eze. Eze takes the shot and it deflects over the bar.

Brighton bringing on the big guns. Will be surprised if we don't concede from here. We've been under the cosh for the last 5-6 minutes.

Mosquera caught in possession on the edge of our box and Hincapie makes an unreal last ditch block from Ayari.

    What a block.

He's coming off now for Gabriel. Timber also coming on for White for the last 20 minutes or so.

Saka coming on for Dowman, who had an excellent game. Faded a bit the second half, but you can tell how much promise he has.

    Saka! 2-0!

Great run by Timber who plays it into Harriman-Annous, his shot is saved by Steele and the save is parried into Saka's path, who slams it home.

    Harriman-Annous off for Declan Rice.

I thought that was a pretty good debut from the 17-year old.

Tireless running, didn't let Brighton's CBs settle, was a focal point, won possession off Brighton's CBs when they tried to build from the back.

On another night, he could have had a goal and an assist. His second half was much more active than the first.

Trossard hitting the post against his former club from 25-yards out. Unlucky. But would have flattered us. Brighton could have won this game in the first half on another day. Although granted, their second half display has been underwhelming.

FT. 2-0. We are through to the quarter-finals.

Pleasantly surprised. Wasn't expecting us to go through tonight, especially after the first half where Brighton could have been out of sight.

But second half was excellent and a lot of good performances, especially the youngsters who both had something about them and have bright futures ahead of them.

I also thought Kepa had a brilliant game to be fair to him. <applause> Brighton tried to test him with some shots from range early on and he claimed it all comfortably. Good display from our #2 goalkeeper.

Another clean sheet. 3 goals conceded in 14 across all competitions. Top stuff.

Let's see who we get in the QFs...

Much better second half all round.
Nice to see Nwaneri step it up too - thats more like it.

Timbers run for the second goal - brilliant.

Rice made an immediate difference the moment he came on. Not only does he drive forward but he just makes our midfield soo much more secure. He snuffs out the danger soo often. Absolutely top class player.

Our reward for beating Brighton will be playing Crystal Palace at home in the quarter-finals.

Bit unfair that. When Zubimendi plays he has Rice and Eze in midfield, Norgaard yesterday had Nwaneri and Merino.
