I would reward Armstrong with a start v Stoke ahead of Riis

Definitely, he led the line well and occupied 2 defenders......equally well as Riis, albeit in only 1 game.
He's earned and deserves to start at Stoke........what did Armstrong do to be dropped ?

Struber may surprise us all and play both upfront, 4-4-2,

You may well be right, but would Struber upset the shape that they're all familiar with. We're in the top 4.
    Not so sure.
If we're chasing the game 2nd half at Stoke then Struber might play something as you suggest

Personally can’t see him playing them both together. Not while they are really the only two striker option he has. One will start the other will replace him. In my view The only question is who starts. Neither would surprise me, I think it may well reflect just how fit Riis is, he may want to protect him and bring him on at the end, if fully fit Riis will start imo

    I'd definitely start Armstrong.
It won't do Riis any harm to know, for the first time, that maybe he has competition.
Riis may have been nursing an injury but he hasn't quite looked the player he was earlier on.

It’s more about managing the limited numbers he has in the squad, the squad wellbeing has to take preference, especially with the limited numbers available

that might be the sensible option... however! if he started it would be more intense so more risk? he is subbed on and winning less so, but losing a real cauldron!

Fayulu showed a couple of good movements in his short appearance but we were in intense defensive state so opportunities were limited also got the academy squad player to think about so 2 on and 2 lesser backups!

On balance I think Sincs will start, 1) to protect Riis injury, and 2) to reward Sinc for his last performance, however if there wasn’t a question mark over Riis fitness then I believe Riis would start. But what do I know,
