No, entering the UK by dinghy from France is not legal, as it is considered illegal entry. Any person who arrives this way is subject to detention and removal, with new laws in place to block access to the UK's asylum system for those arriving via small boats.
    • It is illegal entry:
The act of arriving in the UK without permission or a visa is against the law, and people who do so can face up to four years in prison.
    • Detention and removal:
New legislation allows for the detention and rapid removal of individuals who enter the UK illegally via small boat.

but illegal, you pay for them i want to opt out like the majority of Brits if you want them you house them. i have no problem with legal entry my wife of 16 years is Kenyan, so is half of my family, her two brother went to university's in England paid by her dad One works for a robotics design firm the other aircraft cockpit electronics. They are paying massive amounts of of tax but even they gey annoyed at illegals when they had to fill umpteen papers in and pay £55,000X2 a year for all the fees

Disgusting sadly yet another one of too many to lose their life in this way, due to a person who's religion, beliefs, worship and customs are alien to ours. Perhaps reverting to interviews, lessons and written tests ,would help overcome all these deaths happening all to frequently As nearly every country now carries out interviews, along with standard tests to weed out unstable people, before granting permission to stay,

Have you walked around Sunderland city centre recently? As an outsider looking in I think it’s nightly impressive and must be up there with the most impressive regeneration in the country at the moment. I think your hatred of Labour is definitely blurring your vision on this one. Credit where it’s due. Hopefully the people of Sunderland don’t put this at risk next year by voting for the racist grifter.

Regarding your point re Newcastle I agree and Sunderland and its people need to continually fight its corner as Newcastle people have done.

The evidence is out there, multiple examples. You're just too blinkered to see it. I see you did the usual Reform tactic of completely ignoring the points raised/questions asked.

    The epitome of Reform ...

    ... ex-Labour/criminal/Conservation/Anti-Semite/etc etc etc.

Absolutely despicable man who's 'solution' to the migrants is,

"I'd send them straight back the same day. I'd put them on a Royal Navy frigate and sail it to Calais, have a standoff.
    And they'd just stop coming".

'Nigel Farage has promised to cut unnecessary spending in councils if he is elected.' <doh>

The Reform UK-led Nottinghamshire County Council is splurging £75,000 on new flag installations, prompting criticism the money could be better spent on services for local people.

The 164 flags are set to be displayed across 82 locations, costing the council £475 each, which will include brackets, traffic management and utilising cherry pickers.

Council leader Mick Barton said: “We just feel it’s the right thing to do, and it gives that feel-good factor, that’s what we’re doing it for."

Sadly the locals will nick most of them and the 'other locals' will take the rest.

Typical totally avoid an English person being murdered be an illegal alien and 2 others knifed, to rant about trivial things, no mention of the escaped prisoner rapist who was sent back to France with 400 quid taxpayers money in his pocket or Romanian rape gang have been jailed today for raping and sexually exploiting 10 vulnerable women in Dundee. The same area that the legacy media and police tried to make out a young girl with weapons, "just happened" to act like that, as Romanian adults were approaching her and her young friends. It's all making sense now isn't it? There are 7 other attacks all listed in local papers , but not a squeak out of you left leaning types apart from Northern rocks hats off to him.

I've noticed, over the years, that patterns develop on these forums that aren't apparent at first.

Those who shout the loudest are often the 'worst supporters', of SAFC, and don't really support the club.

They're always quick to rubbish the club, the area and the supporters.

They rarely start threads and prefer to be parasites on genuine threads hoping to bore people to death and derail them.

They jump on other people's threads because they don't have an original thought in their heads.

Once you realise that it's easier to ignore them because they just repeat the same thing over and over.

These forums only exist because people, who care about them, take the time and trouble to post threads ...

... and take responsibility for their content.

And it's usually those with least to contribute who post continuously about the same things. "empty vessels" and all that I suppose.

This post, brought to mind the quote, 'Life's too short to stuff a mushroom'.

Not exactly sure why... I particularly like 'chewing the fat' about football and in particular Sunderland. I am interested in other sports, politics etc. And quite enjoy hearing other views and having my own views challenged.

However there are some very dogmatic and frankly very odd posters. I got fed up with this and left forums for a while.

Then someone pointed out the 'ignore' button and thus meant i didn't have to 'stuff mushrooms'? I don't think this means I like to be in just an echo chamber, but rather its let's not waste time on fools...

I probably haven't explained this very well.

But g'son needs to go to GPs as he has been running a temperature for a few days.

    So pip pip
