I will answer my own post as no-one else seems to know. Checked today, the Beverley v City Under 21's, is on November 11th and its a County Cup match. Played at Beverley's Norwood Ground. Beverley got a crowd of over 500 on Saturday v Barton, which is good considering City were at home too, they won 2-1 with a last minute winner.
Just heard City have pulled out of this fixture and out of the competition altogether for the third season in a row. Bad form by City. Obviously no-one at City gives toss to how much the local clubs rely on games like this financially.
Maybe but it doesn't reflect well on the club when we cannot send an under 21 team to represent the club in local competitions like this.
