    Match Preview;

    After their year experiencing the top flight of English football, we welcome Ipswich back to the Championship and back to Loftus Road on Saturday. During their season in the top flight, Ipswich won just 4 games, and picked up the fewest points in the clubs history...but I am pleased to see that their manager, Kieran McKenna, was kept on and given a chance to rebuild and go again. A sign that they saw their time in a the Premier League as a chance to financially gain and begin to invest in the future, which is not unreasonable given they had back to back promotions from League One to the Premier League. As with many clubs, they have struggled on their return to the second tier, and find themselves 12th, having won 2, lost 2 and drawn 1 of their last five games. Their top goals scorers are Jack Clarke (better add him to the list) and Jaden Philogene, both on five goals.

    As for us, two losses, two wins and a draw in our last five leaves us sitting 9th, only a point from the playoffs. Our top scorer is Kone, with 4, and most encouragingly it looks like he is the type of striker who is going to continue scoring and bag a lot more goals this season...or follow the QPR way and sustain a serious, long-term injury...here's hoping it is the first option. As I have said before, our attacking play has been very pleasing to watch so far this season, but that said, we have only scored 4 in our last 5 games, and so we need to start converting pressure and pushing forward into more goals as soon as possible. Stefan was clearly not happy after last weekend, stating in his post match interview that;

    "We didn't have enough quality today. It's just my assessment. It doesn't mean that we are not able to do some good things because, in the last two months, we've done very, very well."

    "But today, it was not the case. They defended their box well and I think we didn't had enough variety, not enough ideas as well. We had just one big chance with a header, but it is not enough to hope to score in the second half."

    Here's hoping we'll see a reaction on Saturday, and an R's win to get things back on track.

    Team news and manager comments to go up asap, enjoy if you are making to HQ, and as always...

    ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

    If we’re just googling lists of players now I’m having Adam Miller who never played for their first team.
