The 72 hours Hamas had to give the hostage remains back has probably passed by now. If they made a deal they wouldn’t/couldn’t adhere to that’s on them. That’s not to mention the other elements of the deal they’ve just ignored.
Hopefully this is a brief show of force to warn Hamas to stop extracting the Michael. As Bwood said, it is clear that they signed on a deal they were either unable or unwilling to adhere to in good faith. 13 bodies still remain in Gaza and the remains returned last night were revealed by forensics to belong with the remains of a previously returned hostage, which is a grim and somewhat unsettling discovery as it means the bodies of the hostages are literally in bits. True, Benny doesn't want peace. Hamas know that Benny doesn't want peace. But Hamas and Benny signed a peace agreement. Hamas broke the agreement multiple times, both with the last-minute revelation that only living hostages would be returned, and then the subsequent drip-feeding of corpses, some of which aren't even who Hamas say they are.
And this is just absolutely sick. Yet there are those who will watch this clip and swear blind that it must have all been a well-intended accident. This is exactly the same pattern as those ridiculous hostage release parades with speeches and certificates presented up on a stage in front of a baying mob. I can’t even begin to imagine the logistics of locating and then returning bodies that are almost 2 years dead, in amongst the rubble of Gaza. This whole sorry affair on both sides is a stain on human behaviour. Battered, dismembered and tortured bodies being returned. It’s the very worst of what people are capable of I just hope that Trump yanks Benny’s leash and keeps him in line, because that **** is itching for war again.
Right, so that makes it fine to stage the excavation of human remains, fake making some sort of recovery effort, then pretend that those remains belong to someone they don't?
