Confirms what most of us have thought, and some of us have been saying this season. Based on mins played, Leaburn & Kelman are just about the worst two strikers in the Championship To quote the graph - Poor movement Poor shot placement Team not playing to their strengths
I love the comment alongside Kelman “what are you doing at this level?” Just bookmarking again - my QPR mate said he’s a waste of rations and the fee is a piss take
All this vitriol being poured on some of our players seems a bit over the top. 'Damning' is rather strong isn't it? If Charlton were struggling in the bottom 6 it might be justifiable. But we've had a decent start. Morale in the dressing room must be reasonably good, and among the squad too I would guess. Do we really need to be slamming a few of the lads because they haven't been able to shine yet? Seems needlessly negative. We're new in the Championship. Expectations were surely lower among most of us than the reality so far.
If Kelman is looking in (of course he is) and has seen that graph, he will be extra fired up for Swansea. Mark my words, he will score Saturday.
Between Campbell, Kelman and Leaburn, they have scored a big fat zero. This statistic needs to change quickly and dramatically or else we'll certainly end up bottom six this season.
Why? We are not bottom six now are we? Not even close. This looks rather too dramatic a view based on where we are after 12 games.
Poor form. It wouldn't make me turn on those players and lambast them as useless liabilities. They are part of the team we should be getting behind.
I accept that but this cannot continue over a season and something has to give. IF our defence started to leak goals then what happens? We went behind against Preston and fell apart, we went behind on Saturday and sneaked it.
Fair enough, it's all about different opinions. I would love to see our forwards score some goals. Of course it's their primary task. And if results do deteriorate they will come under more pressure from more fans (which of course will not really help). But I think it's a tad early to write them off now - which is what the opening post seems to be doing.
He’s scored in the EFL trophy, and one in the league v Ipswich Town. Thats why he’s above Kelman in the graph
@lardiman The youngsters of today have in their opinion a trendy way of ending a conversation like this one …they just say “facts”. In other words…go chew on them. We of course are more civilised on ‘ere and we enjoy a highbrow conversation, but equally as @ElfsborgAddick points out , you cannot query the actual numbers.
