So a win tomorrow night would put us in the quarter finals. We should be putting out our strongest side, I believe. Willock is still injured and Bagan possibly out so the back four pick themselves with Kipakio on the left. As for the rest of the lineup we need to do a lot better than Saturday. Colwill senior has gone off the boil, Turnbull is static. Will Wintle start? Colwill junior should as he has a good engine and can break down play. Anyway it will be interesting to see who BBM picks. One thing is for sure, we need to be a lot more attack minded to get a result.
Aren't you blokes playing Wrecksham tomorrow night??? can I put my wish list in now please??? a red card for monster Moore, a couple of hammy/ groin strains and anything else you fancy leaving on them. Ta!!!
found this today… I only went to the Vetch twice after this game (Chelsea v jacks during Chelsea’s fan ban years) there were plenty there.. and a famous Christmas game for the Bluebirds
Was at the game too. That Curtis goal!! Had the highlights recorded on VHS for years... can still picture the opening shots being played out to the Rocky Training Montage tune...
Are we expecting a strong team selection tonight and possibly rest a few for the FA cup match on Saturday?
Having got this far, this is the one we need to win - could be a decent payday and prestige for getting into the quarter finals. We may pull one of the "big" clubs at the CCS - long time since we've seen that. Posh away in the FA Cup should be an easy one..........
Hope so, though if I'm being honest, if Wrexham also put out a strong side (which I think they will) then I don't see us winning this one. If they take us lightly like Burnley did though, and we can find our groove once more then maybe, just maybe we can turn them over. Thing is, I think they'll really want to win this one as it'll add to their 'story' - the direct toppling of their bigger countrymen to go with overtaking them in the league etc.... if anything it is probably more important to them than us because we KNOW we are traditionally the bigger and more successful club with our recent history (last season apart) being something they are aspiring to achieve. In truth though, unless they somehow manage to become a successful top half Premier League side then I can't ever see them growing beyond anything we have achieved already because they'll always lose fans to the Scousers and the Mancs. It'll certainly be more embarrassing for them to lose this one than us though that's for sure given current circumstances and hype!
There are more LFC and MunU shirts in darkest Llanelli than there are welsh club shirts and that includes the gypos 12 miles away Is it a gay thing?
Looks more or less fully loaded. Though no Robinson on the bench. 90 mins for Salech, or will we see Davies as a 9 off the bench?
I've tried ever so hard to convince myself that I don't care about this one but I failed miserably. Cmon City Bloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooobirds
