A little known fact about ex England footballer Danny Welbeck. His Dad was a bomb disposal expert called Stan.
Two married buddies are out drinking one night when one turns to the other and says, “You know, I don't know what else to do. Whenever I go home after we've been out drinking, I turn the headlights off before I get to the driveway, shut off the engine and coast into the garage. I take my shoes off before I go into the house, I sneak up the stairs, I get undressed in the bathroom. I ease into bed and my wife STILL wakes up and yells at me for staying out so late!" His buddy looks at him and says, "Well, you're obviously taking the wrong approach. I screech into the driveway, slam the door, storm up the steps, throw my shoes into the closet, jump into bed, slap her on the butt and say, 'You as horny as I am?' ... and, she always acts like she's sound asleep!"
Ah ****. That's sad. Obviously her acting credits are way more than just Fawlty Towers, but she played a huge part in why that show is still popular today. RIP.
Not sure if anyone has bothered with the early release. If you haven’t then I wouldn’t bother, it’s terrible
Bugs are what’s killing it for me. No option to scroll anywhere so can’t negotiate on contracts, matches won’t kick off so just have to use the instant result button and cant hit save on staff responsibilities so can’t change anything on that screen. Throw in annoying stuff in the UI (why can’t I see staff ratings on own staff when looking at the recruitment team for example, have to click into each one individually) and it’s a proper **** show. Clearly been designed for people playing on consoles and is way less in depth than previous versions, probably the death of the game for old school PC players
My hope is they fix lots of these issues but I will wait until the main release date and see the reviews before deciding whether to purchase FM26
I think the bugs will be fixed by release (or very shortly after that) but the UI is what it is and I think will turn a lot of people off. Everyone plays the game differently but if you are someone who liked clicking round the game world looking at other leagues or looking at random bits of info/data then I think you will struggle with it. If you only really care about playing matches then the game is probably alright. I played a bit of career mode on the latest FIFA and that is better than FM26 in its current state, which says it all really
