Justin still sounds exactly the same. Didn't see any clog wearers but plenty of sweaty shirtless middle aged men in the mosh pit. With them having a 45 year back catalogue and me only really following them for the first 25 years or so I only recognised about half the songs, but the likes of No Rest, 51st State, Green and Grey were superb
Going to see Inside No 9 Stage/Fright at Hull New Theatre tomorrow night. Haven't been to Hull New Theatre in years, does anyone have any recommendations on the best place to park, and also somewhere good for food nearby please. I know it's not far to walk from most things, but probably going to be a bit pushed for time.
Cash only that’s just bloody Luddite in this day and age.I am going to see it this Saturday night better remember to take my wallet .
Last time I was in Borough Market a couple of bars wouldn't take cash. Massive shock for some of my mates who still pay everything in cash (probably still got cheque books some of em)
It has recently re-opened so not a bad shout. Old English Gentleman is a great pub as well but can't remember what the food is like.
where I am in west London, I think almost every bar around kings road is card only, will not accept cash
I don't have any particular problem with it as long as you can see the amount before tapping. Sometimes it isn't that easy. I went to Donny races and the girl behind the bar was particularly useless, couldn't even pour a beer. Ordered a beer and a gin and she flashed the machine at me. I just had a feeling and asked how much it was. She said £35, she had charged for 3 pints and a gin.
There 100% should be card readers at the bar, and you can also order through an app to get drinks delivered to your seat, although the selection is more limited
ive just got tickets for Bon Jovi at Wembley, 90.00 for standing, which in todays day and age not bad- but some seats were £335.00 thing that struck me was i was 25, 000 in the presale que and still got through, there is 2 more presales before friday makes you wonder how many or actually how little tickets actually make it to general sale.
Presales used to be a small allocation for dedicated fans that had bought albums etc. The modern trend is now selling out like 90% of tickets in presale then only having a tiny amount left over for ‘general sale’. Scalpers probably get at least 30% I would have thought.
ive just seen the presale que was over 150k at some point, prob easier to get a ticket in the general sale , haha ....i had to buy a cd to get my code and dont even own a cd player anymore..
