You would be surprised Chelsea. Sometimes they get people looking for a place in Spain with a 25k budget and complain there is only one bedroom. I guess 85k wouldn't even buy a garage in London these days. In Hull you can still get a property from about 40k in some areas.
I think Chelsea moves in rarified circles. Even in France you can get bargains compared to here. £85,000 can get a number of possibilities in Spain especially if you move away from the coast a bit.
