There's doubts all over about it......... Hence why we're saying he'd struggle to get in our team, debating if he's any better that Ramsey and agreeing he's nowhere near Tonali's level or Bruno's level. In fact the only thing, anyone can say there's "no doubt about that" on him, is that his valuation is ****ing ridiculous. He gets very few assists, very few goals, make it make sense. 50 games..... 2 goals, 7 assists.........80 touches in opposition box 1959 passes (84% completion rate) Tackles 117, Interceptions 39, Blocks 10 ****ing World Beating stats.
Thank you. Sense in a world of ****ing madness. Hes decent, but Mileys better let alone our other 4 CMs.
Just for DPP Joelinton stats for this season and last (same as I did for Anderson) 36 games........4 goals........3 assists......105 touches in opposition box passes 1205 (84% completion rate) Tackles 70, Interceptions 32, Blocks 9
Andersons stats now stand up with our best players anyway. The days of needing an 11 ended years ago, and Newcastle probably need 5 or 6 cms that are all on the same level. Anderson is now playing for England and has been arguably the best player on the pitch in every game he played. The price is never going to happen, but he's an absolutely perfect cm player for any side in any league at 22 years of age.
Most certainly won't happen at that price hence my earlier comment saying we'll sign Frattesi of Inter. I think injuries are catching up with Joelinton. But Joelinton will become a great squad player.
It's like Newcastle saying Isaks 150 million.. I would expect Anderson will go for around 60 - 70 million in the end maybe a bit more, if there's a bidding war. I wouldn't rule out Newcastle selling Tonali, Joelinton, or Guimareas, and replacing them with Anderson at some point. He's basically just as good as them all and half the price. The Frattesi link could also then potentially happen anyway... It's like you say the squads going to keep evolving.
