When watching games in London on a Saturday.....I would buy a evening paper in the Station whilst waiting for a train home....if you where lucky they wouild have some results in the stop press column of the paper......that could be an hour after matches ended.....so printed and available an hour or so after the final whistle has been blown......this day an age you can't get a paper delivered the next morning....because of late delivery to the shop or no one to deliver it anyway.

I also remember coming home one evening from a tutorial (OU) up Town.....and finding out Argyle had drawn 3-3 at home to Cardiff....and we had been 0-3 down at one stage.

PS.......Just checked it out.....Tuesday 12th September 2006..............3-0 down with 20 minutes left......Cardiff where by far the stronger team ?

Was it from a newspaper or my mini radio....I can't remember anymore.

Buying the WMN only tells me what I read on my phone yesterday at the best of times although my other half only reads the horoscope which is even less value for money.

Leo - Christmas Eve - "You will be receiving and giving gifts and will see relatives you haven't seen for a while". No **** Sherlock!

All these local papers are owned by the Reach PLC and have no real interest in local matters but for the WMN NOT to have a report on City v Argyle when both cities basically get the same paper is utterly unbelievable..

Peterborough bottom of League One on 10pts......three less than Argyle...have sacked their manager Darren Ferguson......this is the 4th time Ferguson has left Peterborough.
Sir Alex Ferguson 's son has had promotion four times with Peterborough.....and won the EFL Trophy only two seasons ago.

Tom Cleverley talking before the Away trip to Mansfield...... reveals that Ayman Benarous is out because of a freak training accident.

Matty Sorinola misses the match because of having accumulated enough yellow cards fo a one match ban.

Alex Mitchell is away because of personal reasons......Xavier Amaechi...Caleb Watts...Jack MacKenzie and Julio Pleguezuelo are still recovering.....and there are doubts over Joe Edwards and Bradley Ibrahim being fit.....a total of nine players possibly not available.

Mansfield do have a reasonable home record....so a difficult game amidst a run of continues away matches for Argyle.

So possibilities that Owen Dale might again be in the match day squad.
