He was never as good as some made out - hence the sideways move to Norwich as opposed to a step up. He’s part of a defence that has conceded 18 goals in 12 games.
He didn’t look a happy camper yesterday and was nowhere near the form he displayed at times last season: Vipotnik outpaced / lost him for the 1st goal and generally I thought he looked poor. Apparently the (Swansea) commentators said the same during the match
2 great goals from Vipotnik saved the day for AS who seems frightened to attack after scoring the first goal....before goal 2 he was ready to take off Vipi...why? he scored a goal after having no support all afternoon from players it seems are told to play safe....Man City will be laughing when they play us if we set up too defensively.....our players are better than that.
He seems to be listening strongly to his number 2 that came from Celtic with the possession based Brendan style football
Pre match talk was exactly that. Word from inside the camp is that the players do not like him. Edit......if true then AS needs to sort it or it could end up costing him his job.
Not heard that but told by someone else that the new owners haven’t spent c£20m to be 13th - change incoming in December (ahead of transfer window) unless results and League position improve…..
