We had Ultras in the Allam era - it fizzled out to nothing, never took off and never looked like taking off, it was a total and utter disaster. All it did was split the noisy, and mostly anti-name change support into two halves and caused people to lose seats they'd had from the opening of the KC. The Allams couldn't believe their luck, the noisy CTID rabble split in half by two dozen so-called Ultras!

    Yep
We’ve never really recovered from the Allan’s deliberately splitting up the more vocal fans

i thought attendances were on a par with last couple seasons to be fair , hovered fairly consistenlty around 20k , pushed up to 23/24k with cheap deals or a massive away following,

They are, but why do you think this season's attendances have seen a slight dip despite the home form being chalk and cheese with recent seasons?

Slight increase in cost. They've increase by 20% in two seasons, poor season last year and the generally cost of living now.

We’ve averaged 20,563 this season, it’s only 800 different to last season.

After 7 home games last season we had a total of 151,233 through the gate. That was an average of 21,604.7
After 7 homes game this season we've had a total of 143,579. An average of 20,511.2. Which is 1,093.5 less per game than last season.

Difficult to put a finger on it, though the increases in the cost of living would suggest it is the reason.
