No I'm not hijacking Chazz's MDT but does anyone have experience of taking kids into the away end at Loftus Road? I've a couple of London-based 8 year old nephews who want to go but my recollection of the away end is that it's a bit ****ty with crappy views of the pitch. Don't mind the ****ty but I would like them to be able to see the game!
Never had a problem viewing from up there, if you go be sure to give the red sombrero wearing QPR tosser a 'wave'.
I thought the upper tier in the away end of Loftus Road gives a great view of the pitch. You can make some noise up there too.
I have always found the views to be good as it overlaps the lower tier so you are closer to the pitch than you normally might be.
As others have said, good ground and view. Only been once (few years ago), won 3-2, 2018 I think. Bowen scored a couple. Can't remember who else with checking. You Ull
The leg room is medieval torture for anyone tall, the view of the closest touchline is patchy depending on where you sit, and the access is atrocious given the previously mentioned narrow concourse. Apart from that, great day out.
I liked it, proper old school - the concourse was made for Hobbits but, that apart I found it ok, we sounded really loud in there and the view was great, especially when James Chester scored the only goal of the match. If you like a pint before the match, don't be wearing colours - some of the lads were saying away fans weren't being allowed in anywhere near to the ground.
