They try to disrupt any conversations on it, because the odd time they tried, they ended up showing that they didn't have faith in it, and have more in agreement with us than they are comfortable to admit. They know it, but just can't accept that their life long ideology is an abject failure. They have to keep bleating for fear of being ignored as irrelevant.
