I think I'd rather FLT... But of that list, would be fine with - Ralph (wouldn't be my first choice) Carrick Carsley Corberan Southgate (not for tactical reasons, but to change culture) Rosenoir Robins Rose Benitez Would add my boy Hutter to it too.
Some, er, interesting names on that list regarding managers currently in employment. Marsch won't be giving up a home WC to come here. Rafa has just got his new job. We would need Valencia to sack Corberan first before we could even consider attracting him (unless I've missed something and they've already sacked him?). Similar with Rosenior. I'd love to know if Ralph is actually interested. I'm assuming he isn't, not even a little bit. But I don't know.
Yeah unless the club is actively looking at replacements already which may mean some names have been leaked then it will just be a generic list at this stage Not exactly an inspiring list anyway, but I guess that’s reflective of where we are. SR would definitely appoint Alex Revell.
I don't even know who that is. So yeah probably. They've probably stuck Ralph as favourite cos he was at the Bristol game and they know some mugs will fall for it.
Sorry I don’t get this Ralph idea. Yes for a while he did a tremendous job, but let’s not forget his last 6 months or so were ????? This rush to replace Still whilst 7 points off the playoffs is a mad idea. Just reflect over the last 3 years or so, changing managers has not been a helpful experience overall. SR are not likely to sell unless a really good offer comes so we are where we are.
Stevenage manager, very Saintsy Absolutely no chance we go for someone like Neil or Robins, and neither of them might be interested right now as well
We should definitely be asking the question imo. Agree Robins probably wouldn't but reckon Neil would.
7 points off the play offs! Spin doctor. We're so bad at winning football matches. I hope SR admit theyve messed up (again) and are at least making some enquiries. Im pretty sure RH would not want the job tho as its the same twats that sacked him!
Neither have enough upside I don’t think. SR are always planning for the future (at the expense of the now) and neither Neil or Robins would tick that box I don’t think. In reality I think we’ll get someone from overseas if Spors is heavily involved in the decision. Ultimately I don’t think they sack Still unless we really look like going down in like Feb
It certainly won't reflect well on Spors if we sack him so early so yeah wouldn't surprise me if we tried to hold on.
Imagine we’d gone eith someone else in the summer. Will Still would be in the top 5 names on that list right now and I reckon plenty on here would be willing to consider him. So difficult to judge what manager will and won’t suit ahead of them having the job.
