Really hope Frank goes proactive at HT and gets Sarr on for Simons. Sarr’s energy will be massive as Everton will no doubt throw players forward to chase the game.
2-0 HT. Micky again, ole, ole. We played ok but created virtually nothing from open play. The set-pieces were the difference and we need to mix it up a bit after the break. The weird double right-wing choice has been erratic, at best.
Love Bergvall but just think to maintain that 2-0, Sarr pressing in front of Bentancur and Palhinha would make us tough to get through.
If we can try and ensure his hamstrings don’t snap again, then a new deal has to be on the table for Micky.
I am happy to go with Frank's choices because he is clearly making a difference with the team and the set pieces are an eye opener compared to our record for years.
I have tested only on a desktop env. If an ISP is blocking sites, I would expect the page to tell you so (as happens in the UK if I try to access vipleague.im etc) . The aggro-free streams are direct to video (so perhaps your device is having issues) , but the other link should be ok.
I've seen us play worse this year. Missed the first goal (flaky WiFi at Manchester airport) but a cracking 3nd goal. Still p****** about in the middle to much for me but I'll take that. Queue a very obvious implosion in the 2nd half as I lose signal and discovery score as I land....
we've defended the box well...their wide players are causing us real issues so the match ain't won . Simmons needs his confidence repaired and unfortunately for him it means getting him off and leaving him on so he can get his head together and come on late on when teams tire. Kudas has been excellent and Johnson has done well ... particularly his defensive work. The defence have done well winning their deals...so far. remember us being 2 up at Brighton away last season... hope this ain't a repeat
I think the decision to take xavi off or leave him on can only be made by someone who knows his personality up close.
This has been my go to for a while. I watched the boxing last night as well and it was pretty seamless bar one short time it went down for a few minutes
Right now it’s not about personality though in my opinion. His performance has been ****, not for the first time too, Sarr would surely offer far more.
