everything has a downside look at this year so far CELTIC/ LIVERPOOL/ MANCITY/ MAN UTD and a few others feeling it! like the money markets they go up and up then crash every few years you just have to bite the bullet [ quickly in the money market ]
like the government 1 leaves the country in a record mess, 2010, next .gov sorts it by 2019 ... but along comes a world record finance breaking catastrophe, covid then Putrids energy caused catastrophe! British public panic ...yep panic driven by lies and personal attacks on .gov 2019/2024 and get gifted power and give us disaster.

    hey ho
an owner who loved the Club, a Sporting Director who could buy the likes of Pukki and Buendia for peanuts and Daniel Farke as Head Coach. Happy days!! replaced by...................... !! bit similar dont you think? successful team taken over by a load of tosh!!!

Surely he will get shown the door sooner rather than later based on the results.

The longer he stays there the better in my eyes, they’ve decent players, and will start to climb up the table once he goes imo

I must confess I expected better from Norwich but not just because Liam is there but rather they look, on paper, to have a competitive squad. We'll see.

Is it true Manning has the worst win rate in a 100 years of any Norwich Manager? I hope Mr Manning builds those behaviours further.

For FFS could describe Mr Manning Bristol City's team behaviours in the play off. City were the soft touch. Feeble.

And yet you thought Pearson did a good job:headbang: Yes the 2 legs were not good, but that was largely down to Dickie in the first game, there was no way back after that.

there shouldnt be any animosity toward LM HE was able to mould a team from what he inherited and had some non expensive additions that are coming into fruition.
people one or 2 in particular have downers on players that they find it difficult to get over [ managers as well!!!! ]

who would have thought we would see Sinclair start ... Mayulu end the game and we won! ... just a few games ago.

We supporters know nothing! thats why we watch, put forward our thoughts and opinions but the staff at BCFC know the real picture ....its always been the way with football ... remember, and you dont hear it as much today #''/?! hell ref gets some glasses etc etc etc etc.....

    Arm chair managers? .... yep quite a few.............. imagine Riis fit and we play 3-5-2 or 3 - 4 - 1 - 2 or ? - ? - ? -2 ......... Coventry here we come!

    Bristol City were not competitive.

Being a reflection of Mr Manning's ideas.

Limped into the plays off with four nil defeats with a record low points tally, on the back of being mediocre most of the season, decent for a couple of months (Hogg!) and then stank the play off out. The team played like they could smell Manning had already given up and was leaving.

We had differences of opinion with Cotts, LJ, Nige and LM, I even remember split opinions over Dicks and contracts, it's football, it's historical , as Greavsie said," It's football, it's a funny ol' game".

    I love it..

I personally thought that Manning did a good job for us..true that the playoffs were a disappointment..I believe we were punching with the squad we had but at times we played some good football.. As is now to a degree we really struggled with scoring enough goals..no consistency..weak on strikers

Although I didn't enjoy Manningball, the pairing of Manning and Hogg overall did a decent job. Tbf even Struber said he joined City at a 'high level'.
Mind you I'm not in love with most of our home performances, they're a bloody hard watch. When I moaned early doors of Manningball I was told that I didn't appreciate 'modern football'. Funny now that Slot admits the 'old game' from 40feet is currently Liverpool's undoing......even long throws are back in vogue.
I realise we're a far better team now under Struber and I know it was L1 but I enjoyed by far the excitement watching Cotterill's team.

Liam has left the building at City long ago and decided to take on an even tougher job by choice and it is now looking very bad for him at Norwich. He was the only manager in recent memory to take us to the play-offs, albeit with a less than final few weeks prior, and although our appearance was shabby vs Sheff Utd in both legs he still got us there somehow and deserves that credit. I truly believe he should be managing at League One level and I wish him well when he eventually is shown the door at Carrow Road.
