Hate to be a tad negative following another performance from the lads but does anyone know the score with RLBs family? Are they staying in France? Are they coming over here? My concern is RLB keeps us up thinks jobs done, his stock is high and he bails back out to his family. Which to be fair I can understand. I bloody well hope not.
His family are here mate, they often at the games. Just this week he did a Sun interview and part of it was ‘happy having my family around me’. No issues there.
⚠️ URGENT TRAVEL WARNING ⚠️ Anyone travelling by car today should consider alternative travel arrangements - Brian Brobbey currently holding up traffic in both directions on the A1.
Considering how it turned out with Dick Advocaat after the flowers can I request there is no flowers?
Incredible enjoyable reading - agree with all- thanks for all your posts. Won't repeat stuff will just add a couple of ''off the ball'' thoughts. 1) Video of goal from behind, showing Zhaka celebrating before it goes in. Made me feel sorry for Roef. Some of what he does is as important as brilliant tackles, passes and goals, but he doesn't get the chance to join in the celebration Note to team - if fans at other end, bring it back to our end and include him. 2) If there was such a thing as assist of the season, surely Brobby would be a contender ? 3) To complete the day, Sunderland first on MOTD, mags on last. Something for them to twist about, no doubt a football league conspiracy
He’s here with his wife and dog. There kids live and study away but his family members regularly come over for games. I think his brother will be over for the Liverpool game
Great comment on Roker Report about us only having player the easier teams. Every team we’ve played is below us. Also, what do we do about our defence. We have 6 undroppable defenders. Is it Hume and Gerty who makes way. What about when Diarra comes back. What about when Mundle and Adringa are available again. So many problems for RLB Good problems that is.
Almost forgot-- 4) I am so impressed with the calmness at times. On edge or around our area, I can onlyt think'' quick welly it away''-- yet these lads stay composed and casually pass it around and play it out. So much confidence in themselves to do it, and so confident in their team mate to recieve it.
Lets all behave like Sunderland Fans, and not get too carried away. It's only one game we won. True, they hold the World Club Championship Cup, but that means little. It's nothing like The Prestigious Milk Cup, for example. So, no need for special pictures or going over the top like some would. For those who work in a 'Mxed Race enviroment' I suggest a wry smile and something like, -- 'You know, as the weeks go by I'm starting to hope that we might just avoid finishing bottom.' Becoming modesty. (And very satisfying).
