If Slot accepts the error in signing Wirtz,(though it might not have been his error) and goes back to a proper three in midfield, Liverpool will win a lot of games. Not enough for the title, not with that defence, but enough to keep his job. But playing Wirtz plus three forwards and a back four isn't going to work. They often get pushed around in midfield, which never used to happen. I think they bought Wirtz to show how clever they are. He's a good player but he doesn't fit there at all.
