Unbelievable. Three days in and this guy is still on the loose. After taking a train from Chelmsford to London and wandering around the streets in his prison fatigues. Not one Copper on the beat or Transport Police officer in sight. Apparently around 250 convicts were released in error during the last 12 months. This was presented as evidence that the Prison service is at breaking point. I can believe that. But what was not said, was how many of those 250 cons were released when they were supposed to be being transferred between two secure facilities, rather than just being let free a while before (or after) they were scheduled to be released. I bet that number was a mere handful. I doubt if it was even double figures. And how many of that handful were sex offenders? I still suspect that there is some very murky politics going on. Apparently this man "has access to funds". How can that be? And he may also be being helped by persons unknown. Good grief.
I’ll briefly stray onto this thread as this matter is non political. At the moment it’s an operational resignation offence. The Release Officer has made a serious error for which he has been stood down, but the fact the illegal then tried to return himself to HMP Chelmsford and was turned away at the gates makes it a resignation offence for the Governor, as there are clearly wider issues. It will only become a major political scandal if the escapee commits another child sex offence while he’s on the run, in which case the Justice Secretary David Lammy would certainly be required to go as the political head of the Department. I also believe that the political consequences would be so serious in such circumstances that Starmer himself would have to consider his position. There’s a lot at stake now in terms of finding this vile individual quickly. It’s another reminder that mass illegal immigration has very serious consequences.
Apparently he has now been arrested. Perhaps they can try harder not to just let him go again this time.
A Reform UK MP has said she thinks there are too many Black and Asian people on television adverts. On the LK show this morning a Labour MP said she is a racist. The Conservative MP on the show refused to call her a racist, or even to say that what she said was a racist remark. I'm not sure Kemi Badenoch would agree with that. Sadly also, the Tory attempted to link the Reform UK MP's comments to illegal migration. What she said had nothing to do with migration. She only wants to see white people on TV adverts. That is a racist view, pure and simple. She and Reform UK do not distinguish between which non-white people are legal or illegal migrants, from those who were born in the UK. They simply do not want to see any of them anywhere. These comments are only the latest in a long string of such racist examples. Reform UK wants Britain to be a Country for White British people only. Even white Europeans are not welcome. People who vote for them in upcoming elections should do so in the full knowledge of what they are voting for.
