Looking like another 3 points for the wearsiders beating Chelsea at their place and seem to be having a great season with their new purchases. Which moves them into 2nd for now with 5 wins
I’m looking at the Wolves v Burnley fixture tomorrow. Normally I always want one of the bottom 3 to lose, as I fear our only hope of survival is for 3 teams to be even worse than us, but Wolves are so bad I find myself prepared to take the risk I will regret hoping they win.
Brentford another club we expected to be fighting relegation has now beaten the scousers and moved up the league. We are going to have to do this the hard way as I cannot believe Forest and WHU are not going to turn things around. So far Wolves look doomed and Leeds are 6 points away from the drop zone. Just Fulham 3 points behind us and Burnley 4 points away, but they and Forest still to play. We need ten wins so 7 more required
Today Endrik has told Real Madrid he wants to go out on loan to get game time, as not played this season so far, and Madrid winning the El Classico last night 4-3 makes it harder. This 19yo kid is valued at over £35m and has power and goals. Madrid are expecting clubs in the prem and German league to come in. So a cheap option for a potential top striker
West Ham showed nothing to suggest they are anywhere near turning it around imo, Bowen was their only threat, take him out and they look every bit a championship team, Paqueta looks like he could lose his rag at anytime, a red card waiting to happen few more defeats and he'll be a powder keg waiting to blow up Fulham will be interesting, very lucky to beat us, with that fluke og, between now and Dec 27th they have, the other 5 of the bottom 7 to play.
That will be a blow, Harrison is not an adequate replacement and Gnonto must be miles off match fitness.
I just think that Nuno is a proper coach and if all his players were fit you would see the likes of Fulkrug scoring for fun. Remember he is a top striker but arrived injured, not used where he was always used and he didn’t react well to Potterball etc. Nuno has been using players out of position and expect him to now know who can do what. I may be wrong Gessa
Doc, el clasico is today. Endrick wants to go on loan so he can make Brazils world cup squad, but he has said he wants to go to a team near the top of the league that play attacking football in one of the top 5 european leagues, and champions league football, kid don’t ask for much does he?
Este what was the video I just watched, last seasons? The vid was only a couple of hours old so assumed it was the latest
I have mixed feelings on Nuno, did a great job at Wolves but they were the most expensive championship squad ever assembled, did well the first season up but then it went pear shaped at Spurs for him, their fans couldn't wait to see the back of him, obviously again a great job at Forest again though, with an expensively assembled squad. West ham looked well short on confidence the other night and he seemed to do little to improve that, standing on the sideline just looking at the sky, shaking your head, isnt very inspiring, he had the look of a man thinking, what the **** have I taken on, they have 3 home games coming up but 2 of those are Newcastle and Liverpool plus Bournemouth away, going to be difficult to get much from those in their current form, 3 defeats there and theyre truly in the doo doo. As you say though Doc, only time will tell.
