Yeah, thats kind of my point though, and what i said further up? The fan pressure led to him selling, at a price he was happy to sell at. None of us expect Solak just to accept the first offer, but it can start a chain of events just like it did at other clubs.

It’s almost impossible to see any way out of this downward spiral we’re in at the moment. Edit: to address your point directly, it has to be in the region of the Director of Football, who has done some good stuff (Scienza mostly), and some not so good stuff (no striker, inexperienced manager). Maybe that’s the change needed? No idea though really.
It’s weird, isn’t it? I would never, ever have thought Brentford made a good choice promoting their set piece coach to be manager. I guess some risks work out (Sunderland coach being another, Poch for us). SR do seem to take risks the whole time that turn out terribly though.
