Fourth best defence in the league, with our two full backs out?

 

Weirdly didn’t mean it as it sounded! I’ve said before it’s incredibly bad luck to have your best left back, second best left back and clear best right back all out at the same time. However I can’t believe players like Shahar and Murphy aren’t worth a punt at some point. I remember the Hall/Burn debacle from a couple of years ago, Howe did everything he could to not play Hall, soon as he had no choice everything improved. Burns been magnificent but he’s not a top class left back.

 

This is quite a big game. It’s another where the players and manager have to prove they can beat these “low blocks”. Anyone expecting a rout is going to be disappointed. 1-1. Please let me be wrong.

 

There's a huge lack of pace right across the midfield and full back areas.

 

Yeah, pace is generally a concern across the team, aside from when our strikers break forward.
