    Coventry v Watford.

    Table.png

Watford travel to top of the table, who haven't lost, this Saturday.

Can Javi's men maintain the good last 70 minutes at home to beat WBA?

Will he start with a similar line up?

I won't be here to see it as it is the weekend before day of the dead and my wife's family have decided to have the celebrations this weekend. Her mother passed when she was young. However, a graveyard celebration will be prepared and had this Friday night which might go on late despite being a weekend early.

    Enjoy the game all!

What is scary about Coventry is that they have scored nearly two and half times as many goals as us and conceded two-thirds what we have conceded.
    However, I remember when....
And, didn't Steve Sherwood score against Coventry? Selvik hat-trick incoming.

I was at that game when Steve Sherwood scored. Only game on in the West Midlands as we were joined by a couple coach loads of Leyton Orient fans whose game at Walsall was cancelled.
Only time I remember us winning there when I have gone. Seen us lose 4-0 [we were on sky] 5-1 [League Cup replay], and 4-1 (I think, more recently).

I could only see half of the pitch, they definitely scored five and it was totally pants. On reflection I don't remember us scoring either, but I haven't looked it up. Miserable evening, the away end was rammed.

Would you play Kyprianou in this? Specifically, would you start him? I think it might prove a bit too much of a step up for him. Do you keep the same formation? I’ve heard it mooted that we should change to 4-5-1 to cope with Cov midfield, but I think genuine forward threat will pose more problems for Cov. I like K9, he holds the ball up well, but to put him on his Jack up front against a defence with the most clean sheets, seems like a tough ask. Doumbia was fabulous off the bench against West Brom - does he come on from the bench again, or do you start him?

I would keep the same back four. Bola was excellent on the whole; Big Mattie is going to have to have a fabulous day, but he’s more than capable of that; Abankwe impressed last time out, and is stronger than he looks; Jezza is terrific.

Louza must start. But who goes next to him? Does Baah make the start? Does he come on? Rocco has to start, surely? Thoughts?

The team that started the second half could be rewarded but obviously be a different game where we won’t see much of the ball and be under pressure a lot .

Is N.Mendy injured as he could come in for Hector ?

Where precisely does Othmane Maamma play? He’s listed as a forward, but he got 4 assists and 1 goal in that u20 thing, so is he a winger or one of the front two? Is he an option?

I presume he is a bit of both but mainly a winger like Irankunda is really although we play him up front.

Was in Morocco the other day so I guess is not back yet.

    Few changes .

Be a mixed response to the selection

Baah and Doumbia in but also Sissoko and Kayembe

One of the main complaints has been the lack of a settled defence - so Pollock is dropped!!

Great move ends with Vata trying but failing to chip the keeper.

Coventry go up the other end and score ..
