I'm 63, and my family's life expectancy, on both sides, drifts into the 90s (except for my brother) and I think I need to know the details and hope I'll make it to see this too....
My dad died at 49 and I was convinced I would go at that age. I was about mid 50’s before I was convinced I was an over dramatic idiot.
Sorry about that - must have been very difficult for you, my dad was 94 when he literally 'gave up' and I nursed him for the last two years after my mum died. What's this got to do with the Blackburn game, whilst living with us with his walking frame, I did think he might get a start up front for Saints.
Says a lot that we might be relying on an unproven 18 year old, that said, he can't be any worse than Downs. If we are chasing the game tomorrow I'd rather roll the dice with this kid.
McCarthy; Edwards, Wood, Quarshie; Fraser, Charles, Downes, Manning; Armstrong, Scienza, Archer. This is my guess for today.
Still feeling my confidence from yesterday that we'll get a win here. Not expecting it to be comfortable by any stretch, but I do think we'll get the win. However if we don't let's please not try and justify this as a difficult away game which was never going to be easy or anything. We absolutely should be winning this match. No ifs, no buts.
Great start to the day. Well, about to leave home in the next 20 minutes. Another long journey, so hopefully we’ll all be rewarded with a bloody win. COYR
