Following their disappointing 0-1 home defeat at the hands of QPR, next up for Alan Sheehan’s (sinking) Swans is a home match against a seemingly floundering Norwich team who have lost 4 Championship matches on the bounce, and who haven’t won since August.

On Wednesday evening, QPR’s impressive away form continued as Rumarn Burrell's goal secured victory over 10-man Swansea.

Burrell volleyed home from close range to give Rangers an early lead and there was another heavy blow for the Swans when Malick Yalcouye was sent off for violent conduct 11 minutes before half-time.

Alan Sheehan's team kept plugging away in search of an equaliser, but lacked attacking inspiration even before Yalcouye's early exit and did not force goalkeeper Paul Nardi into action until Zan Viptonik's header was pawed away in stoppage time.

Rangers held on to make it 10 points from four away league games since they were hammered at Coventry City in August, with Julien Stephan's side up to eighth in the Championship and only outside the play-off places on goal difference.

But this was a dispiriting night for the Swans, who slipped to 16th having won only once in seven league games.

The previous evening, David Ozoh's winner for Derby County sent Norwich City into the Championship relegation zone and heaped more pressure on Canaries boss Liam Manning.

Norwich have slipped into the bottom three after stretching their winless run to seven league games.

Manning only took over at his hometown club in the summer, but has been left fighting for his job after seeing their promotion hopes potentially turn into a relegation scrap.

On-loan Crystal Palace midfielder Ozoh earned Derby their first home win in nine games - and manager John Eustace's first victory over Norwich, at the seventh attempt.

The Swans have played Norwich on 63 previous occasions, with both teams having won 26 matches each, with 11 draws.

In the corresponding fixture last season, the Swans won 1-0:

Turning to tomorrow, both Managers are in desperate need of a win, particularly Manning as the knives are reportedly already being sharpened. As for Sheehan, defeat tomorrow would start to raise even more questions about whether he is the right man to take this (stronger) Swansea squad forward.

Whilst I’m hoping for a return to winning ways, I think that the match will end 1-1. <cheers>

Oh dear, that sounds ominous, we're very obliging to teams' poor runs :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I think a draw as well. Then again I've no clue!

Well I’m down for this game, cheeky overnight stay with her indoors. So better get a win, but seeing Norwich’s form, they are bound to beat us.

    Let’s go with a lucky 2-1 win. :)
