According to Reuters, both the club AND the company that owns the ground have been put into a joint administration, that's good news, means it's a lot easier for someone to come in for the club. Ready made for Ashley or Textor.

Not my club obviously but the mag maligned Ashley would do a very good job there. Don't know a lot about Textor other than the grief its caused Palace this summer.

Good news for Wednesday that. Admin means Chansiri loses control.

Not all roses mins, admin itself will absorb money, a couple of million is typical I think I read once.

But it sees the beginning of the end for that bloke. What a weird one he has been.

Once the club is in admin, Chansiri loses control. He could in theory but back through a different company, and this does happen.

But it couldn't happen here, and he clearly has no cash anyway

    here's a much better idea...

put chansiri in administration and sieze whatever cash they can from him to help the club, he fecked it up so he should pay.

..of course that will never happen but nice to think of it as a way to get back at shoddy owners, none of this is the fans fault and they will be the ones to suffer.

The owner had his name spelled out in the stand with seats! What a whopper!

The sad thing is that the blue seats that they are replacing the white ones with are so faded that you can still see his name <doh>
Good to see him gone though.

Hope loads attend tomorrow, including well meaning fans of other nearby clubs who may be playing away (doubt blades fans would want to do this but you never know).

Was a few videos on twitter showing a decent turnout in the club shop buying strips. This was part of the boycott so looks like they may well get a good crowd

Hope people step up. Saw this quote from (I think) the administrator.

"Now, more than ever, we need fans back in the ground - buying tickets, merchandise, pies and pints. Every penny spent will go directly to supporting the day-to-day running of this club, not to the former owner or professional costs. This will help stabilise the club while we secure a suitable buyer."

Yeah, I watched his interview on Sky Sports. He mentioned one of the other administrators is a season ticket holder and has been speaking to their main fan group.

There's supposed to be a few options to take control, mostly people who tried to buy the club off Chansiri but he kept asking for ridiculous money. With some good luck on their part they could have new owners soon and start rebuilding. Probably in league one, but at least it's a clean sheet.

Could we name some of the urinals after him? Just imagine saying to your mate at half time "I'm just off to have a piss on Methven"...

Hope the club recovers fully. It is a really famous old club and a significant member of our pyramid.

I think there is a complex situation to unravel there yet. But hopefully a solid local business person with best intentions can make something happen. A bit like happened at Derby.

I work with a lot of Wednesday fans. They have kept their own misery during this period and shown a bit of humility. Goos bunch.

They could have those little goals in the urinals like they have in the fans museum and a little picture of Methven could be the goalkeeper <laugh>
