On 3 June, owner Dejphon Chansiri, who took over in 2015, was charged with breaching EFL regulations regarding payment obligations.

Weeks later Mr Chansiri said he was willing to sell the club in a statement on their official website.

Their crisis deepened just days later when another embargo was imposed on the club relating to payments owed to HMRC, before players and staff were not paid on time on 30 June.

Really sad news, I feel for all their fans, Football clubs mean an awful lot to a lot of people, everyone of them has a story to tell, memories that last a lifetime, going to first game with parent now deceased, spending many days/evenings with siblings/friends/parents watching their favourite team, shared experiences etc, the list goes on, so very sad when it comes to this.

I remember the feeling when we were threatened with extinction, I wouldn’t wish that feeling on anyone……………… well maybe I’d make an exception for the blue few, mainly because rather than help us in our hour of need, they tried to nick BS3

I hope for the fans sake something is sorted out
