Not Scunny or Donny. There's no big clubs within miles, which is why City boasts a large fanbase and can easily get an average of 22k to 23k for home games even when we're struggling. Like last season when we couldn't win at home for love nor money. I don't consider Leeds or the Sheff clubs to be rivals. Some do. Not me.
I like to have a bet before the game, and on my visit to Hull City centre it was full of blokes wearing shell suits who looked like Bob Carolgees.
For a certain poster on here it is an euphemism for a certain activity, for others it is a respected newspaper.
I know you lads are South Londoners, not Cockneys..My mate Les is a south London lad, Charlton fan, who said he used to stand on that massive open terrace back in the day. He's coming along on Saturday, I've advised him not to wear his Addicks shirt in the home end. I hope he takes that advice on board!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JB was a character, excellent player on his day, but came with a dodgy knee and a Columbian army marching powder habit, allegedly. Turned out to be an arsehole, by all accounts.
He's probably marmite, although he does appear to be an everyday Joe who you could have a drink with. I imagine he'd not f*** around with the likes of Dean Windyarse.
He didn't get in to have a pint, Charlie rang the bell on Whitefriargate and asked Sir John Hotham to let him in, Sir John told him to piss off. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
He's got a right attitude problem....I'm sure he told me to piss off when I was last down there, though I was wizzing into his tent at the time.
In fairness YouTube is awash with videos from people who hear Hull is crap, actually visit here then leave singing its praises. Abridged version, most of us don't give a toss what anyone thinks of us. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Decent place to visit, with the worst city centre road congestion in the entire UK. Due to the fact that a main road redevelopment, linking east to west, is one year behind schedule and a major bridge is closed for repairs. Other than that, flaming marvellous.
No doubt a decent standard of living compared to the sky high prices in London and the South. Although not as nice as Goole
Sell your two-up, two down in that London. Move up here and buy a five bed detached mansion, and start following City....Now that's a win-win.
