And the Tyne Bridge is only part owned by Newcastle City council, the other half is owned by Gateshead.

But even so, it shows just how pathetic and insecure they are to be jealous of a bridge.

Canny hike along that road between Downhill and Boldon mate.... Me and a mate missed the last bus home about 25 years ago when we went to watch a film called Dog Soldiers at the pictures in Boldon, about werewolves, so we walked home to Redhouse.... in the dark on a foggy night after watching a film about werewolves. Imagination and paranoia was a peaking.

Used to walk from Redhouse to Boldon bank top early every morning to catch the bus to Heworth when i worked at 'the Ministry'. Train to Longbenton and the reverse trip back. Bad weather, that walk was a killer. Winter was fun.

Sunderland have had a easy start, they have beaten nobody yet. Can't get carried away beating teams like Wolves and Forest man! Just don't ask them who they have beaten so far!

It had an even bigger budget than lord of the rings mate. The werewolves where on a fortune. Bit like TOTO in Wizard of Oz, that hound was on more then some of the cast.
