'It will come down to balance, so who plays at RCB if not Zak?'

It won't be Atkinson, he's naturally left footed. Straight choice between Vyner and McNally. My choice would be McNally but by the time he's back Atkinson will probably be injured again.

Atkinson on the left of a three for me, Vyner on the right, Dickie and McNally fighting out the middle one, in reality it gives us options, allows for injuries and rotation if all fit.

I thought McNally was left footed as well?

You might be right but he looked right footed to me playing on the left side.

As Redprintt says, Atkinson cannot play at RCB as he’s left-footed as can be. Nor can Dickie for me, so, I think it’s will be Zak RCB, Atkinson LCB with Dickie & McNally fighting for the middle spot.

Either way we have 3 very good starting CBs with one in reserve. As I said, it will come down to the balance that GS needs.

McNally is right footed, but can play left of a three, a bit like Vyner, although he’s better at it than Zak

I dont think it's guaranteed McNally will be back to his best. He has suffered and ACL and you dont always come back the same from them. I would be planning for the worst case scenario.

We’re pretty well covered at centre back, both with specialists and Tanner and Pring amongst others that can fill in adequately

Do you know your left from right? <laugh>

I think it will be Vyner - McNally - Atkinson (I like Dickie just think McNally is better)

McCorie and Borges. Borges is getting better and better.

But all in all come Jan, we will be a pretty good place in defence

I wouldn't consider Pring or Tanner, both good players, an adequate replacement for McNally as he was before his injury
