Aim for 5 points from the next group of games. Be good return.

Hoping we can sneak something against Chelsea but I wont get carried away like United. Everton another big one. You'd probably take 2 points from next two games given how well its going.

Looking back on Wolves, the captain again deserves to be praised, do yous get the feeling he just simply wont allow us to slip down into the battle? Itll be hard with Afcon and injuries, but hes just such brilliant leader by example.

Very pleased with the result and performance,....gritty/ugly whatever you define it but it's what we need to establish ourselves in this league.
Starting to make one or two well established 'know alls' of the game take notice of us now.
I think Traore still needs to get up to the pace a bit and try and establish himself or he will get left behind.
So next coming up one of our easy games at Chelsea.
I would go with back five, three in the middle and two central strikers with pace....not that we have anything else these days....lol.
It's a sort of a free hit this one, but going for a win....same result as in the Gus era.
Think Wolves might struggle a bit this season....hopefully....lol....didn't offer too much even though they had some decent possession in second half.
    We have some team lads.....HTL!!!!

Been out for a few and he sang this song
Looking at the 5 games I would be happy to come away with 5 points. Truth is looking at our previous fixtures I would have been happy with 8 points (a point a game) but we are currently trending a a much better ratio.
So in reality we may end up with closer to 7 or 8 points which would be outstanding.

5 would he OK putting us on 19 pts after 13 games.
Well on target for staying up.
Some of the players may be looking at more the way they are going.

I don’t think this squad is playing anything like what they're capable of. RLB is being really cagey in my opinion and we have players like Mundle, Diarra, Brobbey, etc who can make an impact. You can see that players aren’t sure of their team mates and learning on the hoof, not surprising when some have only just met each other.

We may have a few knock backs but we’ll gradually improve …

… Leeds, Burnley, etc are doing OK but they really don’t have the depth Sunderland have.

The show rolls on. Reinildo back for selection chelsea game, was picked every game before suspension.

Hume, Ballard, Mukiele, Alderete, Xhaka all good, Sadiki did well also considering midweek injury. Defence doing a superb job.
I like Gertrude, comes on as sub and does his job underrated, as Ballard, Mukiele and Alderete take usual deserved plaudits for unwavering form.

At least if Traore was the a bad buy of the bunch, his transfer fee was small.

Good how the transfers have worked out, considering recruitment were earlier looking at GK petrovic and CB diakite who both went to bournemouth instead, also the other CB Lucumi. Even if they've been good too, you wouldn't swap alderete and roefs for those 2 bournemouth players and a few million.

66pts last season was good for 5th/6th. Funnily enough the total for the mags and villa.

I watch a few Chelsea games and get the feeling they get rattled if oppo frustrate them.

only game I really have a worried feeling about is Arsenal, but we are the type of team they could slip up on, not saying they will be the team but we could

    my feeling/predicitons for next 5

Chelsea D/L - if we stop them and fustrate them, get an early goal and hold possibly a win
Everton - Win, everton are hit and miss and we need to do one over the dour one
Arsenal - lose, think the home run will come to an end, but will be by the one goal
    Fulham - draw,
    Bournemouth - win

Agree with all of this, especially Traore and Wolves, but I think he'll do the back 4 again

Maybe not the greatest footballer ever but he does show a touch of class even when not playing.

He’s one of my favourites of all time for us. It’s like watching someone who just enjoys it. And he always shows that.
The word legend is used far too often in football circles, but if everything he’s done since signing doesn’t qualify him fir that status, the nothing ever will for anyone

Despite being virtually written off by some I believe he's A) Better than some believe and B) Will play up to ten games this season.

During the transfer window, and after bringing in 'better players', Ballard and Hume have proved people wrong and shown they can make the step up.

Those who doubted Hume and Ballard may also doubt O'Nien but I'll trust the club's judgement ...

... you don't hand someone two years PL wages to act as a lucky mascot and dog rescuer.

<laugh> I know it's tongue in cheek and just a bit of fun,but it always makes me smile a bit when someone tries to extrapolate a sample of stats in an attempt to predict the future. This league, like most others,is a constantly evolving series of events, with a myriad of moving parts, any of which can alter the environment to create a different outlook at any time.
As the great Mr Zimmerman said....."the first one now will later be last".....! Looking at our December fixtures!:emoticon-0107-sweat
Mind you,if we do get 66 points,I'll change my views and become a believer!<laugh>
