did he play the 1-2 for Gelhardts chance second half and win the flick on for Millar right on full time as well?

Probably the hardest of the season so far, arguments could be made for half a dozen stand outs, but here's my top 3 (just)

Ajayi - returns to the team after a while out and puts in a performance like that, stood strong in that 2nd half when we needed them too, fantastic effort.

Crooks - another just getting up to fitness and another brilliant all round performance

Gelhardt - another who gave absolutely everything to the cause and some wonderful skill displayed.

Millar was excellent until u derstandably he tired, Giles another who even though he was crocked still bolted up and down the line, Joseph another who left it all out there and when Destan came on it was night and day in comparison, Drameh another who stood up.to the test despite a very tricky winger and finally Hughes, make him skipper Serj, definitely worthy.

Sadly Pandur could have been punished a couple of times with his dithering in decisions, Famewo isn't a full back while I've got a hole in my arse but given the injury didn't really have a choice, and Destan looked miles off it.

But a cracking performance by the lads in 2 very different halves, well done lads.

Ajayi - we look so much more solid when he’s in the lineup.

Crooks - played through the shoulder injury he picked up and gave us bite in midfield

Giles - another assist and another solid defensive performance

Millar - cracking finish and a really good outlet for us. Understandably tired a bit 2nd half, but good for him to play the whole 101 minutes
Crooks - commanding midfield performance and great dummy for Millar's goal <laugh>
Gelhardt - A goal, an assist, and for me should have had a pen early 2nd half - I was just about in line with it and I thought the defender clipped him - no need for him to go down in that position.

Special mention to Amir. Thought he had his best game for us by far and won a lot of 2nd balls, especially first half.

absolutely, football played at its best.
people go on about Pep Guardiola bringing in the boring tippy tappy at Barcelona, but truth is that side was fast and lethal and didnt just pass for the sake of it, they ripped teams apart at times .
all the copy cats over the years got lost along the way somewhere and forgot the fast part and just bored games to death.
its great to see it dying off over football as a whole
p.s not saying we are as good as that Barca side........................yet ..

The fundamental is the Championship quality of player can only bring moves like that in small periods of play, better off in the oppositions half. To expect players to do it round our own box and half is frankly crazy.

Why Leicester wouldn’t pick a right back to overlap that right winger is beyond me. In a fast attacking side he’d be absolutely lethal.

Everybody contributed last night, terrific team performance and we 'dug in' during the second half at times to get over the line.

On this occasion I'm not selecting a top 3 as it would be an injustice to the other 8 on the pitch who played their part 'big time'.
