I think we all know what we get from Sincs, sadly it’s just not goals. Tonight we saw his value, yet on Sat he was brought on to do the same and was shocking. I really wanted him to get the second goal, I think he just needs that one bit of luck, however it comes

How good was Randall tonight - not a ‘flair’ player so goes under the radar, but he was immense tonight in that midfield!!

Did Sincs get an assist tonight, where he deflected it against the post for Twine to tap in?

I agree that Sincs should get an assist on the goal as it deflected off him. When Soton scored after totally dominating us from the start I was thinking this could be a rout as we were all over the place and were outpaced, outhought and generally mauled. Basically I was prepared to write us off right there and then but as I was writing my original post saying what a load of sh*t we are, then we and scored and my belief returned somehow and so this is my revised comment based on how good we really are. Great win against a team that looked way better than us for 30 minutes and then went to pieces after our first goal and they started to look like we did at the start. Nice goal by Mehmeti followed by a double from Twine made it a great result and our position in the table relects who we are and another 3 points on the weekend against a possibly difficult Brum outfit. :emoticon-0137-clapp:emoticon-0137-clapp:emoticon-0137-clapp

Maybe he is useful for something by getting an assist for standing still ? <laugh>
On a more serious note, Birmingham won at PNE yesterday, and will be another tough opponent on Saturday

Who still has the blinkers on and thinks Manning is better than Struber the football is a different level to watch.

i think Norwich fans would love Struberball over Manningball.

I’m not sure we’d turn it around like that under Manning. It does seem Struber is much better at tweaking things during games. We seem to not only have a plan b, but a c, and even d, if necessary.

I think a strength of Struber over Manning is his empathy with players and fans.
Struber 'gets them' and they respond........well, they/we are at the moment.

    Do you think so ?
He wouldn't be in midfield but for injuries.
Would Struber pick Vyner ahead of McNally and Atkinson to play alongside Dickie ?

There - you have answered your question.

Ps Rod, You can't question Vyner's commitment, availability or effort. A good club man...... every club would like a 'Zac Vyner'.

This will be an interesting conundrum for GS once McNally is fit. It will come down to balance, Dickie can only play in the middle of a 3, he can’t play left or right or we’d be massively exposed, so who plays at RCB if not Zak? Atkinson & Dickie are better in the air, but neither have the pace required if Zak isn’t there. On this seasons performances, it might well be Dickie that drops out.

It’s significant and worrying that Cov have got 3 of their players in this list - and all in higher positions than our Anis. <yikes>
