Drameh and Crooks both had outstanding first halves.

    Ajayi
    Millar
    Crooks
Plenty of other candidates. Destan's little cameo at the end was very good, won every header, chased and harried, and a lovely pass to set up Gelhardt's chance. I'd be tempted to start him on Saturday if McBurnie is still out.

Difficult one but I’ll go with

    Gelhardt
    Ajayi
    Crooks

Marginally ahead of Millar, Giles and many others.

Real team effort and they stick to the plan well. Hard to select a top 3 as all played well and contributed at different times in the game, especially the back 4 as under a lot of pressure. However goals win games so

    Millar
    Gelhart
Crooks for always knowing what he’s going to do before he even gets the ball.

Crooks - has the knack of just being there!
Miller - great goal and flick for the second
Ajeyi - valuable headers and looks a player

    A hard one but....
Millar - A great goal, showing his class
Joseph - Just for the work he put in, never stopped
Ajayi - Composed defending and some good distribution

Best 45 mins of football of the season. Miller was superb and we scored two very good goals.
Under the cosh a bit in the second half, which was to be expected but a fine and unexpected win under the circumstances.
    1. Hughes. Blocked and stopped everything.
    2. Slater. Everywhere, like a wasp at a bbq.
    3. Ajayi. Composed, big and imposing, very cool on the ball too.
    ...
Mentions too for Joesph who ran his socks off and could maybe should have had two first half goals.
Geldharte, excellent all night and unlucky not to be in the top three.
Scrabble, starting to look a player at this level and Drameh, good first half, never let us down.
Giles, hope he hasn't been crocked and Crooks, what a difference he makes.
    .....

Ajayi- absolutely class act. It’s a shame he can’t stay fit all season, reminds me of an inform Michael Turner the way he reads the game.

Gelhardt- Thought he was a constant thorn and never stopped working.

Drameh- though he had an excellent game, made some vital interceptions and rarely got skinned.

Mention too Joseph who never stopped running. He’s defo a better option than Destan.

Every outfield player who started tonight has been named on this thread.
That’s one hell of a team performance.
